Portrait Investment

Families are always changing. From a couple in love to a couple with a fur baby, a baby-bump or newborn bub, a rare reunion for a milestone birthday or anywhere in between, my portrait sessions are designed to capture both the big moments and the little celebrations. I want to capture you being together, playing together and doing the things you love to do together.

My sessions usually yield between 50-70 images, ranging from group shots to candid images. There is no limit on the number of people who can participate, since no two families are the same!

Payment plans are available to make your dream portrait session possible sooner.

How do I book?

Get in touch! I’d love to hear from you about what kind of photographs you’re looking for. In order to reserve your preferred session date, I require a signed contract and your session fee paid in full. Payment plan options are available upon request.

What kind of portraits do you offer?

Most commonly I capture engagement or sweetheart portraits for couples, and lifestyle family portraits – see my portrait portfolio for some examples! I also photograph newborn bubs and maternity sessions, family reunions, boudoir and more. And yes – I’m happy to include your family pet(s) in your session too where possible!

Do you offer studio portraits?

No. I work 100% on-location – which means out in the great outdoors – and with mostly natural light. I love for my images to look real and natural, and while I have a huge respect for photographers who work in studios, that look is just not for me.

What takes a photo session from good to great?

Preparation and communication! The better I get to know you guys before the shoot, the more “you” your photos will be. I’ll send through a getting-to-know-you questionnaire after you book in, and it’s so important that you take your time and fill it out in as much detail as possible. It really will help us to choose the perfect location, set the tone, and capture your family in a way that’s real and authentic – and I’ll be there to help you every step of the way too!

How long before our photos are ready?

You can expect to receive a preview of your images the day after your session – I’m always so excited to see them straight away too! Your complete gallery of images will be ready approximately three weeks after your portrait session. I individually select, edit and retouch every image, so I never want to rush, but I don’t like to keep you waiting too long either!
