Ah, long-distance love – it’s such a romantic concept, but I’m glad we live in the age of technology where staying in touch and sharing our moments is swifter than it was in our parents’ era!
Melody and Tim are all too familiar with the concept of “love without borders” – while the two met at uni in Tim’s local Brisbane, Melody’s work led her home to Mongolia. Tim took a job in China to cut their visiting transit time from 15 hours to two hours, despite having only studied basic Mandarin for a few years in his youth – and THAT is what love looks like for this pair. Dedication, sacrifice. It’s all worth it for moments like the ones in these pictures.
The two reunited in Brisbane for a glorious three weeks holiday together in August, so we jumped on the opportunity to capture their togetherness in the afternoon sun in one of Melody’s favourite Brisbane spots – Roma Street Parklands.
