Europe Snapshots Part 1: United Kingdom & Ireland

I crept off on holidays at the beginning of the year and of COURSE I brought a camera with me! Most of what I share on this blog is work I’ve shot for clients, but taking photos just for my own enjoyment on this trip was so much fun and I wanted to share a little of what I made along the way.

My other half Chris and I spent almost five weeks travelling around the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, France and Italy, and it was the most revitalising and invigorating experience! The images below are from the first half of our trip, in the UK and Ireland. It was deliciously cold in mid-to-late January - we deliberately tried to dodge some of the Aussie summer!

In case you’re curious - my go-to travel camera kit is the Lumix G9, kit 12-60mm lens and 25mm f1.4 Leica lens. I’m a Nikon gal for weddings, but the G9 does phenomenal, incredibly stable video too - and I definitely want that functionality when I’m travelling!
