I love the intimacy that’s inherent in having photos taken in your home, where all these special memories are really happening. Cuddles on the couch, Noel helping Jude slam dunk off the kitchen door frame, playing with blocks or reading books while Bec feeds Liam - all of those are real memories of things this family do together every day, and it’s so special that I got to help them capture that and hold onto it forever.

Baby Jude is a pretty cool dude. He’s only been here for a matter of weeks and he’s already got “charming” down pat, plus he’s been working on his super-dextrous toes party trick. We hung out on a cosy Friday morning with his mum and dad, who’ve graced the blog before (a few times), and got some snuggly cuddly photos - and a few porchtraits! Because a baby born in COVID times absolutely deserves a porchtrait - a portrait on the porch.

Cassie and Steve brought their precious daughter Autumn into the world exactly one year after they tied the knot - does this girl have great timing or what?! I love in-home newborn sessions - not just because you have everything you need to feed, change or swaddle Bub right on hand, but also because the location adds another level of meaning to the photos. To have those memories captured of your little one's tiniest days in the place where all the cuddles and gazing and first smiles and giggles happened will make these pictures much more special in five, ten or twenty years time - even if you've moved on to another home.

If you're ickle Georgia here, you give the strange camera lady all your best smiles and perform like a pro for a full 50 minutes before you even notice you're hungry! Say whaaaat?!
Welcome to the World, Baby Esme!
I photographed Elaine and Adam's wedding in 2014, and I remember them mentioning in their speech how they were hugely grateful to their families, and couldn't wait to start a family of their own. Two years later, baby Esme has brought them all of the parenthood joy they'd been dreaming of. Congratulations, guys!

I'd like to introduce you to my gorgeous, vivacious and very pregnant sis Trina and her stunning partner Jane. They couldn't be more excited to start their little family, and I couldn't be more excited to meet my new nephew! Bub is affectionately known as "Cubby" for now, and we're all looking forward to finding out his name when he arrives any day now - Trina and Jane have been keeping very tight-lipped.
